28 weeks — that is how long our #FeedTheFort COVID-19 Crisis Meals project lasted. As we officially close our Z’s Cafe journey going into 2021, my husband Carlo and I have said that we feel the last 13 years in the food business prepared us for this very project. It came unexpectedly. And the below sponsors and volunteers rose to the challenge. Together, we fed 150,000. Together, we helped curve food insecurity during a time when families — our neighbors — needed help.

The work must continue and is doing so through many organizations across the county. A heartfelt thanks to all.
